On Sunday night, one of the Dallas Cowboys' quarterbacks was cut.

ESPN NFL insider Todd Archer reports that the Cowboys are releasing Ben DiNucci.

Archer reports the Cowboys will release Ben DiNucci, a 2020 7th-round pick.

During his rookie season, he played in three games and started one of them.

During his first season with the team, he spent most of the time on the practice squad.

According to Archer, the backup quarterback job is between Cooper Rush and Will Grier.

When Dak Prescott was injured in 2020, DiNucci started once for the Cowboys.

A new team may be able to entice the former James Madison quarterback.
