The league's transaction wire reports that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup

has passed his physical and has been activated off the physically unable to perform list.

Gallup avoids a four-game absence on the reserve/PUP list this afternoon.

Gallup has not played since tearing his ACL during Week 17 of the 2021 season. 

The Buccaneers won't play him on September 11, but he should return within four weeks.

According to the team's owner, Gallup will be able to play in Week 1. 

if it was the Super Bowl, but they are being extra cautious with their wide receiver.

In the event that Gallup is ready, he will be able to practice with the Cowboys.
