In Week 1, Gallup will be eligible to play for the Dallas Cowboys on their 53-man roster.

According to Jones, the wide receiver won't suit up against the Buccaneers on Sept. 11.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Gallup could play in a high-stakes game.

He said Gallup would line up in the Super Bowl. He would line up against Tampa.

Conservative, not cautious. He is less likely to play against Tampa Bay. "He's ready."

In 2021, Gallup had 445 receiving yards and two touchdowns before tearing his ACL.

He was awarded a five-year, $62.5 million contract extension this offseason.

Gallup "looks excellent" in his recovery, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota.

McCarthy says he's close. All targets are hit. It's going well. Just keeping on track.

It still sounds unlikely that he'll return in Week 1. The 26-year-old may play in September.

Gallup should return. The Packers traded Amari Cooper after James Washington broke his foot.
