Before Tuesday's 53-man roster cut, Las Vegas Raiders released Keelan Cole.
Following this move, the Raiders will only have five wide receiver options in 2022.
Cole joined the Raiders as a free agent in May. In Las Vegas' wide receiver depth chart,
He served as a backup to the former New York Jet and Jacksonville Jaguar.
The Raiders have Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow and Mack Hollins, along with
Tyron Johnson and D.J. Anken. Soon, the team will add more depth at wideout.
Cole caught 28 passes for 449 yards and one touchdown through 15 games in 2021.
11 passes were caught by the 29-year-old wideout for 149 yards this preseason.
Having proven himself in the receiving game, Cole should earn a roster spot before 2022.
