New York Giants rookie Kayvon Thibodeaux's MCL was sprained by a low block by Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons.

Thibodeaux was injured Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. When rushing the passer, Thaddeus Moss hit him low.

After being checked out in the locker room, Thibodeaux returned to the sideline. After that, he didn't play again.

Sunday night, Parsons tweeted, "I don't understand why cutting is still allowed in the NFL! Let's play ball bro! I hate seeing that s---!"

It was reported on Monday that Giants coach Brian Daboll had been asked about the block.

You've got to see the blocks across the line of scrimmage within the tackle box, and then you've got to use your hands well.

Therefore, I am very sorry to hear that K.T. suffered a serious injury. "But that's just a part of the game," he told me.

There was a report that Thibodeaux would be out for 3-4 weeks as a result of the injury. In terms of a return date for Daboll, he refused to provide one.

In a nutshell, it's day-to-day. It's not my job to forecast when a player might return. It's his duty to get treated."

In the meantime, we will take things day by day, and when he is ready to go out there, that's when we will put him out there."
