Dallas Cowboys are on the verge of making their final roster cuts before 2022.

As a result of those roster cuts, one player's tenure in Dallas has come to an end.

Jeremy Sprinkle was released as part of an injury settlement by the Cowboys on Friday.

After re-signing with the Cowboys in March, Sprinkle enters his second season. 

He was placed on injured reserve earlier this week by the Cowboys. 

Dallas: 3 catches for 31 yards, 2 special teams tackles. His NFL future may lie in healing.

He was drafted by Washington in 2017. After two years, he exploded in 2019.

Sprinkle caught 26 passes for 241 yards. Almost two thirds were offensive snaps. 

Sprinkle had 34 receptions for 301 yards and three touchdowns at Washington. 

In 2021, he was promoted from the Cowboys' practice squad to the active roster.
